Legoland Discovery Centre and Sea Life at Forum Istanbul: tickets and tips for families

Updated on October 20, 2026

The Legoland Discovery Centre and the Sea Life aquarium in Istanbul are next door to each other, inside the Forum Istanbul shopping mall in Bayrampaşa, on the European side. They are a safe bet with children aged roughly 3 to 10 when it rains or the heat is fierce: everything is indoors, you can eat on site, and a combined ticket covers both. Allow about two hours for each. Both are far from the historic districts, so plan half a day.

Highlights

Kocatepe station

Kocatepe station

The exit of metro line M1 is a few minutes' walk from the mall: the simplest way to get here from the city, with no car and no traffic jams.

Legoland Discovery Centre

An indoor course made entirely of bricks: building workshops, ramps to test your creations, rides and Lego models of landmarks. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Sea Life Istanbul

The aquarium shows fish and marine animals along a covered route. Feedings and shows change: check the day's programme at the entrance or on the official website.

The combined ticket

The two attractions are also sold as a joint ticket, cheaper than two separate entries. Some resellers still offer a Legoland and Madame Tussauds ticket: the Madame Tussauds museum in Istanbul has been closed since late 2024, so do not buy it.

Tips

  • Prices noted in October 2026 on an online ticket seller, for guidance only: Legoland, about 891 TL online against 990 TL at the desk; Legoland + Sea Life, about 1,296 TL online against 1,440 TL at the desk. Free for ages 0 to 2; reduced price at Sea Life for children aged 3 to 11. Prices in Turkish lira change quickly: check the official website of each attraction before buying. Book online and pick a weekday slot to avoid the crowds. Keep a photo ID for tickets bought from a reseller.
