İstinye Park and Kanyon: Istanbul's Shopping Malls, Access and Tips

Updated on October 26, 2026

İstinye Park is a large shopping centre on the European side, in İstinye in the Sarıyer district, opened on 21 September 2007. It has 291 stores according to Wikipedia, with an enclosed part and an open-air part around a central park, a cinema with an IMAX screen and a bazaar of Turkish food products. Kanyon, in Levent, is another modern centre, easier to reach by metro. You come to shop and eat under cover, not to visit a monument. İstinye Park's opening hours could not be confirmed: check its official website before you go. Kanyon is open daily from 10am to 10pm according to several sources. Entry is free at both. For Turkish fashion in town, see Nişantaşı instead; for another centre, Zorlu Center.

For a shopping budget, see shopping in Istanbul.
